GENERAL REGULATIONS


(Applicable to All Categories)
  1. All entries must directly address the competition theme: “Food Security: Challenges, Innovations and Future Directions.”
  2. Submissions must be original, unpublished work. Plagiarism will result in automatic disqualification.
  3. Each participant may only submit one entry per category.
  4. Entries must be submitted before the deadline of 15 October 2025, 11:59 PM (Malaysia time). Late submissions will not be accepted.
  5. Submissions can be made individually or as a group (maximum 3 members).
  6.  All participants must pay the registration fee (Local: RM 50; International: USD 75) before submission is confirmed.
Note: The judges’ decision is final. Shortlisted entries may be featured on AID Academy’s official platforms for educational and promotional purposes, with full credit to the creators

  1. ​Posters must be designed digitally (JPG/PNG/PDF format) and submitted in A3 size with high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
  2.  Posters should include a clear title, visuals, and concise text that communicates the key message.
  3.  Language allowed: English.
  4.  Visuals must be original or used with proper copyright permissions.
  5.  Posters will be judged on creativity, clarity, design quality, and relevance to the theme.
  1. Papers must be written in English, using an academic style.
  2.  Length: 3,000–4,000 words, excluding references.
  3.  Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, APA 7th citation style.
  4.  Submissions must include an abstract (200–250 words) and keywords (3–5).
  5.  Papers will be evaluated on originality, depth of analysis, relevance to the theme, and quality of references.
  1. Video duration: 3–5 minutes.
  2.  Format: MP4, landscape orientation, minimum resolution 1080p.
  3.  Content must be original and should raise awareness, provide solutions, or inspire action on food security.
  4.  Spoken/written language in video: English/Malay/Indonesian Language (subtitles required if non-English is used).
  5.  Videos will be judged based on creativity, storytelling, technical quality, and impact.
